Notice
Grand Tower Road will be closed starting Wednesday,
April 8 until further notice.
Information
The Clerk's office will now be open every business day. It will NOT close between the 20th and the 5th.
Hours of 8:00 am to noon will remain the same.
This change will provide customers with the opportunity to pay late utility bills in Grand Tower without the need to go to Carbondale.
250 Years of Freedom Celebration
The City, Township, Park, and Fire Department are all working together to plan a celebration event.
The date of the event will be June 27, 2026.
This date was chosen because we believe vendors and others will not be available to us on the 4th of July.
This date will also allow everyone to attend other celebrations.
The planning team is organizing food, music, games, and all types of activities.
There will be something for everybody.
Save the date and plan on celebrating with us!

Trash Pick-Up Information
Trash is picked up once a week, on Monday mornings. Customers are provided a trash can by the company. The can must be placed on the edge of the road in front of your house with plenty of room for the truck to reach the can. The metal rods must face the street so the truck is able to attach to the can for dumping.
